We live in a world obsessed with reality shows. As much as we try to
pretend to have "had enough of them," every season we end up addicted to some
new series. The success of the reality show is that it's unscripted. No actors,
no one to yell "cut" when someone messes up. In fact, there is no such thing as
messing up because there's no script. It's real people in manipulated and yet
somehow still real situations. And we want to see how they will react. What if
you could combine the brilliance of a writer and the wisdom of a director with
the seemingly unpredictable passion of real life? What if this whole life was
operating under these conditions, with God as the writer/director/star and each
of us - with a roll to play? Could you find your place? Do you know your
place... in HIStory? Itching to ask and answer that question, The Cross
Movement is back with what may be the group's last album together. Taking their
cue from the writer of Hebrews, who tells in chapter 11 about a host of people
who faithfully played their roll in the story being told by God, The Cross
Movement stands to answer the call of the 12th chapter which says, "having such
a great cloud of witnesses that have gone before us, let us run the race that
is set before us." In other words, it's our turn to play our part in HIStory.
