Crafting his skills and beats for many years, Philadelphia's own Japhia
Life has people turning heads and taking note of his creative hip-hop beats and
tight rhymes found throughout each song on his upcoming national release on
Beatmart Recordings. Gracing the cover of URB Magazine with the Beastie Boys,
releasing numerous mixtapes and a couple independent cds, have launched a
worldwide buzz giving him the opportunity to work along side of many mainstream
recording artists such as his new found friends Salt of Salt-N-Pepa and Play of
Kid & Play among others. Stylistically, he has been compared to top
mainstream hip-hop artists of our time. His flow has the authentic street
appeal of Jay-Z and has the heartfelt substance of Nas & 2Pac. Awareness
and familiarity of Japhia Life has been heightened by numerous interviews with
Hansoul on Philly's 103.9 the Beat, as well as radio stations in Orlando,
Miami, Atlanta, New York, Virginia, New Mexico, and other stations around the
country. He has also appeared on the Atlanta based talk show 'Cynthia and
Friends Show.' Japhia sums up his message as 'wanting to make life changing
music. I'm from the hood so I just wanna make powerful music inspired by God
that will affect the world.'
