For Freedom is the debut album from newcomer Jimmy Needham. His music is an acoustic, bluesy, funky hodgepodge of conviction and thanksgiving. Happily dancing between genres and audiences, the album centers on liberation. The lost need to be shown the Truth and the church needs to be reminded of it so that we all might be set free. If it's true that Christ has freed the captives, then it's our responsibility to harken to the call of Jesus and wake up from our slumber, Christian and non-Christian alike.
